Chamba is connected by road and is 580 km from Delhi. It is 24 km from Khajjiar and 56 kms from Dalhousie. The closest railhead is at Pathankot, which is around 120 km away. Katasan Devi Temple- located at a distance of around 30 kms. is a popular place of pilgrimage, has a beautiful view of the Chamba Valley. Sarol (around 10 kms.) houses wonderful and aromatic landscaped gardens Jhamwar- located amid dense forests, is noted for its apple orchards (10 kms). Saho (around 22 kms.) is famous for the temple to the Lord Shiva Salooni (55 kms) is another place with breathtaking views of the snow-capped ranges. Bhandal (22 km) from Salooni is the beautiful Bhandal Valley with its wealth of wildlife and vegetation and is an ideal retreat for all honeymooners.
